MMCP was established in 2005 under the patronage of MM University Trust with objective of providing academic excellence, upholding and maintaining skill based values.
Today MMCP is a holistic based provider of education of global dimension and has been shaping the aptitude & aspirations of bright young generation.
Since a long time the college is catering the needs of the hour in developing competent manpower to keep pace with developing plans of our country.
Presently MMCP is offering courses like Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) with three specializations (Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology and Quality Assurance), Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) and Doctor of Pharmacy Post Baccalaureate (Pharm D -PB) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme in Pharmaceutical Sciences with the approval of respective regulating council’s such as AICTE, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The college is recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India as SIRO (Scientific and Industrial Research Organization).
MMCP committed to give a better and quality education to students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. In addition to these, we are giving more emphasis on soft skills such as communication skills; cognitive skills; team work etc and these skills will help our pharmacy students to get a job in pharmaceutical industry and to sustain in their job.
As per pharmacy council of India norms, we have laboratories such as pharmaceutics lab, pharmaceutical chemistry lab, pharmacology lab, Pharmacognosy lab, Central instrumentation facilities etc to conduct the practical. Keeping in view the need of innovative research for upgrading the field, the college possesses highly equipped laboratories with highly sophisticated instruments with state-of-art pilot plant laboratory. We do have a library with books, reference books along with national and international journals to augment the student knowledge with current research.
Academic institutes vary widely in both quality and innovation; among the best on both counts undoubtedly is MM College of Pharmacy. MMCP today has a solid foundation in the field of science and technology and our achievements in the area of pharmaceutical sciences have been spectacular.
Faculty of our college is promoted to continuously update itself through Conferences, Workshops, Seminars and UGC/AICTE/PCI sponsored Staff Development Programs/Refresher Courses so as to update themselves with recent trends by active participation and organizations of the same. Faculty members have published and presented number of research papers at National/International levels.
These research activities have helped in continuous updating of our students & faculty members to reflect the dynamic changes in Pharmacy Education and Research. Moreover, the college has several collaborations with Research Institutions and Pharmaceutical Industries.
