Professional Guidance and All Round Development: Institute has a very strong student mentoring support system at the department where a teacher mentor is assigned to a group of about 20 students. Head of Institute deliberate with the Teacher Mentor on the issues related to the regular conduct of the classes, student grievances, and special needs of the students or any other related problem.

Career Advancement: Teacher mentors provide the counselling and guidance to the students. Teacher mentor assess the aptitude of student and guides the student for their career advancements keeping the capabilities and resources of students into consideration.

Course Work and Laboratory Specific: Mentor keeps a closed view on academic performance of student. Whenever counselling is required teacher call the student and discuss with him.

If student get any difficulty in theory or practical he discuss with mentor and it is the responsibility of mentor to resolve the problem at his/her level or forward to the concerned faculty/person for necessary actions.

Mentor provides the information about the performance and activities of the students to their parents on regular basis and also interacts with them. Frequency of meeting with mentee is at least two per month.
